About SIBA
SIBA Formation
The Swiss-Iraqi Business Association (SIBA) is a non-profit, independent platform based in Zurich, Switzerland, officially established on May 13, 2025. It was founded by businesswoman Rasha Oudeh, Iraqi legal expert Mr. Muqdad Al Juboori from Baghdad, and Swiss attorney Mr. Maurice Choquard from Zurich. Together, they created SIBA to promote and facilitate meaningful collaboration between companies from Switzerland and Iraq, with the goal of strengthening economic, commercial, and cultural ties between the two countries.
SIBA Objectives
- To strengthen commercial and economic relations between Switzerland and Iraq.
- To increase trade and investment exchange between Switzerland and Iraq.
- To enhance ties and relations between the private sectors of both Switzerland and Iraq.
- To encourage the establishment of economic, financial, industrial, tourism, and service-related projects between the two countries.
- To promote economic, commercial, cultural, and social cooperation between the two countries.
- To build an information base for individuals and companies interested in establishing relations with Switzerland.
